Capcom is bringing a unique opportunity for West Coast gamers, unveiling a temporary pop-up store in Los Angeles's vibrant Little Tokyo district. This special retail experience will showcase exclusive video game merchandise, previously only available in Japan, from popular Capcom franchises such as Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Monster Hunter, and Mega Man. The store will operate for a limited duration, from Saturday, September 19, until October 18, offering fans a chance to acquire sought-after collectibles and apparel.

This initiative represents a satellite extension of Capcom's flagship store located within Tokyo's PARCO department store in Shibuya. The Los Angeles pop-up aims to replicate the unique retail experience, featuring a diverse array of items, including plush toys, decorative charms, and themed apparel. A selection of these exclusive products will be available for purchase starting next week, promising an exciting haul for dedicated fans.

Adding to the excitement, the pop-up store will host playable demonstrations of the upcoming title, "Mega Man: Dual Override," during its opening weekend, specifically on September 19 and 20. Prospective players should anticipate potential wait times due to expected high demand. Capcom has indicated that participation in these demos will be "extremely limited" throughout the initial weekend. Furthermore, the first 50 attendees on both September 19 and 20 will receive a special, limited-edition Tokyo Game Show handkerchief, adorned with imagery from beloved Capcom games.

This event coincides with the Tokyo Game Show's 30th anniversary, which this year extends to a five-day run from September 17 to September 21. Prior to this major gaming convention, the Capcom Spotlight TGS 2026 broadcast is scheduled for September 16 at 10 a.m. ET. During this broadcast, fans can expect updates on several highly anticipated titles, including "Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance DLC," "Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen," "Mega Man: Dual Override," "Pragmata," "Onimusha: Way of the Sword," and "Street Fighter 6." While "Ace Attorney 7" is notably absent from the current lineup, the possibility of a surprise announcement remains, especially as the series approaches its 25th anniversary next month.

This temporary shop offers West Coast enthusiasts a rare opportunity to acquire Japanese-exclusive gaming merchandise. With a curated selection of collectibles and the chance to preview upcoming game demos, the pop-up store is set to be a significant event for the gaming community in Los Angeles.
