After extensive anticipation from fans, the highly popular battle royale game Fortnite is set to launch an exciting collaboration with the iconic anime series, One Piece. The new season, dubbed "Fortnite Treasure Hunters," is designed with a pirate and anime theme, perfectly aligning with the adventurous spirit of the Straw Hat Pirates. This eagerly awaited crossover will introduce beloved characters such as Luffy, Zoro, and Nami to the Battle Royale island. Additionally, the season will feature other prominent figures from various franchises and music, including Kasane Teto, Hatsune Miku, Lil Uzi Vert, and A$AP Rocky. Epic Games has recently released the inaugural season trailer, promising an exhilarating November for enthusiasts of both Fortnite and One Piece.

The debut of Fortnite Treasure Hunters ushers in a wealth of One Piece content for players to discover. The sheer volume of new additions in the trailer makes it challenging to pinpoint a starting point for exploration. This mini-season will, as is customary, feature its own distinctive island. Players will immediately notice that, despite the season's anime focus, the map retains its traditional art style rather than adopting a cel-shaded aesthetic. Furthermore, the island's unique skull shape enhances the excitement of deploying from the Going Merry ship, which replaces the standard Battle Bus, into newly designated locations across the map.

Upon landing, players will have access to a variety of One Piece-themed items. The trailer provides glimpses of Luffy's distinctive rubber arms, indicating that his signature Gum Gum Pistol ability will be available for in-game use. Other revealed items include one of Nami's tangerines, likely serving as a healing consumable, Usopp's slingshot, and Zoro's formidable three-sword attack, which is expected to function as a powerful Mythic ability within the game. These additions promise to bring a fresh dynamic to gameplay, allowing players to embody the unique powers of their favorite One Piece characters.

Fortnite Treasure Hunters is scheduled to commence on November 1st, coinciding with the launch of a new season for Fortnite Festival. The exact roster of skins to be included in the Battle Pass, Festival Pass, November Fortnite Crew Pack, or sold in the Item Shop remains undisclosed. However, based on the recent trailer and previously released teasers, several confirmed characters will be making their way to Fortnite next season. These include Kasane Teto, Hatsune Miku, A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, and the Straw Hat Pirates themselves: Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Ace, Buggy, and Sanji. It's speculated that Sanji might be a bonus skin for the Battle Pass, similar to Springfield Peely in The Simpsons mini-season, as eagle-eyed fans have already spotted his distinctive blonde hair in various background shots of the trailer, notably within a golden car and on a boat.
