Jessica Lange to Receive Visionary Award at Virginia Film Festival, 'Awards Chatter' Podcast to Record Live
The upcoming Virginia Film Festival is set to celebrate the illustrious career of stage and screen icon Jessica Lange. She will be presented with the festival's Visionary Award, an honor bestowed upon artists whose impactful body of work and lasting contributions have fundamentally shaped modern cinema. As part of the tribute, Jessica Lange will engage in a live recording of The Hollywood Reporter's 'Awards Chatter' podcast on Friday, October 23. Following the podcast, attendees will have the opportunity to experience a screening of Jonathan Kent's new cinematic rendition of 'Long Day's Journey Into Night,' a production in which Lange portrays Mary Tyrone.
