The Significance of the Mandate Encampment Outer Gate Key
The Mandate Encampment Outer Gate Key holds immense importance within the world of Phantom Blade Zero, as it serves as the exclusive means to access an entire region that is otherwise barred from entry. This key is pivotal for players looking to explore all facets of the game's expansive map and uncover its hidden secrets.
Initial Encounter with the Encampment Gate
Upon your initial arrival in the tranquil Village of Lu, players will naturally discover the imposing gate leading to the Mandate Encampment. However, despite its early appearance, the key itself is not found nearby, necessitating further exploration into later stages of the game.
Journey Through the Pangzhen Region
The elusive key to the Mandate Encampment is situated deep within the Pangzhen area, which constitutes the game's fourth major region. Players will undertake this journey during the second chapter of their adventure, making it a critical waypoint in their quest.
Confronting Gu Wangyue and Discovering the Key's Location
As you delve into the western sectors of Pangzhen, your path will eventually lead you to a confrontation with Gu Wangyue, a formidable boss character depicted as a Chinese opera singer. After successfully vanquishing this adversary, a secret passage becomes accessible: a well located within her arena. Descending into this well and ascending a ladder directly opposite will reveal a concealed room swarming with puppet enemies. Within this room, upon a fallen body, lies the coveted Mandate Encampment Outer Gate Key.
Securing the Key and Unlocking the New Region
Given its placement along the primary progression route through Pangzhen, players are destined to traverse this specific chamber. It is imperative to retrieve the key during this passage, as its acquisition is the sole prerequisite for dismantling the barriers to the Mandate Encampment, thereby opening up a wealth of new content and exploration opportunities
