LuxExperience, the conglomerate overseeing Mytheresa, Net-a-Porter, Mr Porter, and Yoox, has reported impressive financial performance for the fourth quarter of 2026, ending June 30th. The company achieved net sales of €653.6 million, representing a 7.6% growth at constant currency rates. This achievement marks the third consecutive profitable quarter since its inception in April 2025, following Mytheresa's acquisition of Yoox Net-a-Porter (YNAP) Group. The group's adjusted EBITDA stood at 2.1%, highlighting a strong financial rebound.

For the entire fiscal year 2026, LuxExperience recorded a 3.2% increase in net sales, reaching €2.47 billion. This is accompanied by an EBITDA of €10.8 million, a dramatic improvement from the €53 million loss reported in the previous year. Michael Kliger, LuxExperience's group CEO, expressed satisfaction with these results, emphasizing the group's swift return to profitability and growth, especially considering the prior substantial losses experienced by Yoox Net-a-Porter. The fourth quarter also marked a significant milestone for Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter, as both platforms achieved growth and profitability post-acquisition, with Net sales rising by 5.6% to €273.9 million, largely fueled by a 15.1% growth in the U.S. market. Mytheresa continued its strong performance, with a 10.2% growth in Q4, primarily driven by its U.S. operations, showcasing the effectiveness of their strategy focusing on elite customers and full-price sales.

Despite its historical struggles, Yoox demonstrated a notable improvement, growing by 6.6% in Q4, with net sales reaching €110.5 million, predominantly from Europe, excluding the UK. While Yoox continues to operate at a loss, the deficit has significantly reduced, with Kliger expressing optimism for the platform to break even in 2027. The company's strategy hinges on maintaining the distinct identity of each retailer: Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter as authoritative editorial platforms, Yoox catering to value-conscious shoppers, and Mytheresa targeting affluent consumers seeking the latest trends. Each brand engages its clientele through tailored events, such as Mytheresa's Riviera cruises and Yoox's events during major art and design weeks. Looking ahead to fiscal 2027, LuxExperience projects mid-to-high single-digit growth and an adjusted EBITDA margin of 2-3%, reinforcing its positive outlook amidst the competitive luxury market.

The remarkable journey of LuxExperience from significant losses to consistent profitability underscores the power of strategic acquisitions, disciplined cost management, and a clear understanding of diverse customer segments within the luxury market. By fostering the unique strengths of each brand while pursuing overall financial health, LuxExperience has not only navigated a complex economic landscape but has also set a precedent for resilience and forward-thinking in the e-commerce sector.
