A24 has unveiled the comprehensive trailer for "You Can See Everything," the documentary by Nathan Fielder (known for "Nathan for You" and "The Rehearsal") and Lance Oppenheim, which chronicles the saga of Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes. The trailer hints at a bewildering and uncomfortable portrayal, characteristic of Fielder's style, and features a moment where Holmes appears to shed a tear. This highly anticipated film is slated for theatrical release on October 16th, following its initial run at various film festivals.

The documentary has already generated significant buzz, notably joining the New York Film Festival's Spotlight Lineup for a September 30th debut, and had a surprise world premiere at Telluride. Critics who caught early screenings have described "You Can See Everything" as an intriguingly intimate examination of a figure often perceived as either deluded or deceptive. The narrative is said to evolve into something more elaborate and less predictable, ultimately provoking contemplation on the essence of personal truth.

Crafted in secrecy over a four-year period, "You Can See Everything" grants Holmes a platform to articulate her perspective on the Theranos narrative. The film navigates the complexities of her journey, from proclaiming innocence alongside Billy Evans to eventually serving an 11-year prison sentence. Holmes' company, Theranos, once valued at $9 billion, claimed to conduct extensive health tests from a single blood drop, a promise that proved to be largely fabricated, leading to the company's downfall in 2018. This documentary offers a unique lens through which to view a controversial chapter in technological and corporate history, prompting viewers to consider the various facets of ambition, deception, and accountability.
