Emraan Hashmi's forthcoming musical horror feature, 'Rooh', has solidified its production team by welcoming Tips Films and Tips Music aboard. This strategic alliance sees Kumar Taurani joining the project as a producer, setting the stage for a wide theatrical debut in 2027 across Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu-speaking regions. The film promises a unique fusion of fright and affection, with its musical compositions intricately woven into the storyline.

Directed by Mayank Sharma, who also co-penned the script with Vishal Kapoor, 'Rooh' is presented by Tips Films and is a Vicked Films production. The producing team includes Kumar Taurani, Girissh Kumar, Vikram Khakhar, and Sunny Khanna, with Vikas Sahni serving as co-producer. The film's musical scores will be distributed under the Tips Music label. Hashmi, known for his roles in horror films such as 'Raaz: The Mystery Continues' and 'Ek Thi Daayan', emphasized the crucial role of music in connecting with audiences. He expressed a desire for the soundtrack of 'Rooh' to encapsulate the film's deeply romantic, eerie, and emotionally resonant essence.

The partnership with Tips marks a significant reunion for Hashmi and Taurani, whose professional relationship traces back to Hashmi's debut film, 'Footpath', also produced by Tips. Taurani conveyed his excitement about rekindling this collaboration, anticipating a repeat of their past successes. Vikram Khakhar of Vicked Films Productions highlighted the importance of Tips Films and Tips Music joining 'Rooh', envisioning an immersive and memorable cinematic experience for audiences. Sunny Khanna also lauded the addition of Taurani and Kumar, acknowledging their impressive track record in both film and music, which is particularly vital for a project where music is a central component. This collaboration aims to leverage their expertise to ensure 'Rooh' reaches a broad audience across various linguistic markets.
