Taiwanese technology firm imCore Corp. has introduced Core Studio, an innovative AI-powered filmmaking platform, at the Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF) in Taipei. This comprehensive system is engineered to manage the entire cinematic production pipeline, encompassing tasks from initial script conceptualization and storyboard creation to advanced image generation, precise editing, and sophisticated color grading, all within a unified environment.

Crafted by a Taiwanese team rooted in animation and visual effects, Core Studio harnesses both an in-house image-generation model and integrates with various external generative AI frameworks. Its design meticulously adheres to established filmmaking practices, enabling creators to navigate multiple production phases seamlessly without the need to alternate between disparate software tools. This integration is a significant leap towards enhancing efficiency and creative flow for content developers.

Notable attendees at the platform's unveiling included Erica Wang, CEO of the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), which organizes TCCF, alongside representatives from the Taipei Film Commission. The event also gathered strategic partners from imCore, acclaimed filmmakers, and leading professionals in the AI industry, underscoring the collaborative spirit behind this technological advancement.

Charles Lee, the visionary founder and CEO of imCore Corp., who also established TWR Entertainment, emphasized the platform's user-centric development. He stated that the Core Studio team deeply understands the need for professional creators to have more than just image-generation utilities. They require an all-encompassing solution that can genuinely embed itself into existing production workflows. Lee highlighted that Core Studio distills years of production expertise into an AI-driven platform, offering more extensive creative assistance for cinematic artists.

A key feature of the platform is its suite of over 24 specialized AI agents, which effectively function as a virtual production ensemble. These agents are capable of handling diverse aspects such as narrative development, asset creation, visual effects, editing, and color adjustments. imCore positions these agents as a means to mitigate the technical complexities often associated with AI-enhanced filmmaking, making advanced tools more accessible to a broader range of creators.

For the pre-production phase, Core Studio provides a sophisticated tool named Story Atlas. This utility meticulously deconstructs an imported script into individual scenes, shots, and storyboards. It also facilitates the consistent development of character designs, costumes, props, and voice profiles across the entire production, ensuring a cohesive visual and auditory experience.

Every output generated by the AI within Core Studio is meticulously documented. This record includes details of the models used, the prompts and parameters applied, the associated costs, and the results of human review processes. This feature empowers production teams to diligently track their creative decisions and maintain a vigilant oversight of budgetary allocations, fostering transparency and accountability.

Furthermore, the platform incorporates Real Engine, a powerful module that unifies three distinct image-processing functionalities: Real Video, Real HDR, and Real Revive. These components work in concert to sharpen image clarity, elevate color depth from 8-bit to 16-bit, and meticulously correct overexposed highlights in AI-generated footage, ensuring a superior visual quality.

A cloud-based workspace, equipped with real-time communication capabilities, robust version control, and comprehensive access management, enables geographically dispersed teams to collaborate on the same project efficiently. This feature is crucial for international co-productions and distributed creative teams.

During the launch event, four creators showcased their AI-assisted projects, demonstrating the platform's versatility and potential. Among them was Jerry Zhou, the mind behind the project titled “God Being.” Zhou shared his positive experience, noting the efficacy of the editing page agents in managing sound effects. He explained that the ability to isolate and precisely adjust sound effects and dialogue from AI-generated footage provides him with enhanced flexibility and creative latitude, ultimately making his work as a creator more fulfilling and productive.
