The upcoming Clio Entertainment Awards ceremony is set to celebrate the remarkable achievements of several influential figures in the entertainment industry. This year, the accolades will spotlight an acclaimed actor, a pioneering filmmaker, and a distinguished marketing executive, acknowledging their profound impact on film and television.

Celebration of Industry Luminaries at 2026 Clio Entertainment Awards

On November 19, 2026, the prestigious Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles will host the Clio Entertainment Awards, an event dedicated to recognizing excellence in entertainment marketing and creative endeavors. Comedian Cat Cohen will serve as the host for the evening.

Leading the honorees is the Oscar-winning actress Jamie Lee Curtis, who will be bestowed with the Honorary Clio Entertainment Award. This recognition salutes her illustrious five-decade career across both film and television, and her lasting influence on the artistic landscape. Curtis is celebrated for her transformative role in the horror genre, notably her iconic performance in Halloween, which reshaped how horror films were positioned and marketed to audiences. Her recent triumphs include an Academy Award for her role in Everything Everywhere All at Once and an Emmy for her work in The Bear, underscoring her versatility and continued relevance.

Filmmaker and producer Skip Chaisson is slated to receive the Trailblazer Award. This award honors visionaries whose distinctive style and bold creative choices redefine entertainment marketing. Chaisson, recognized for his significant contributions to cinematic trailer storytelling, is the founder of Skip Film and a creative force behind Wild Card Creative Group. His career highlights include shaping marketing campaigns for major films such as Titanic, Gladiator, Gravity, and F1. He also played a pivotal role in the launch of El Rey Network alongside Robert Rodriguez.

Frank Chiocchi, Executive Vice President of Marketing at Walt Disney Studios, will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. This award acknowledges his decades-long influence on entertainment marketing and his integral role in crafting some of the industry's most memorable campaigns. From his early work on Toy Story at Craig Murray Productions to overseeing blockbuster campaigns at Universal Pictures and Disney, Chiocchi has been instrumental in connecting Hollywood's biggest films with global audiences. He also led the establishment of The Hive, Disney's internal creative agency.

The ceremony will also feature Cat Cohen, who gained critical acclaim with her show The Twist…? She’s Gorgeous, which earned her Best Newcomer at the 2019 Edinburgh Comedy Awards and later became a Netflix comedy special. Her acting credits include appearances in popular series such as Only Murders in the Building, Girls5eva, and What We Do in the Shadows. Most recently, Cohen wrote and starred in her Off-Broadway one-woman show, Broad Strokes.

The Clio Entertainment Awards, originally conceived by The Hollywood Reporter in 1971, are designed to recognize groundbreaking marketing, advertising, and communication efforts that shape popular culture across various entertainment sectors, including film, television, streaming, live events, and gaming. Industry leaders from around the world convene annually to select the recipients of the Grand, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Clio Entertainment Awards, with the Grand Clio and Of the Year Award winners to be announced during the November 19 ceremony.

The Clio Entertainment Awards stand as a beacon, illuminating the creative genius and strategic prowess that drive the entertainment world forward. This year's honorees—Jamie Lee Curtis, Skip Chaisson, and Frank Chiocchi—each represent different facets of this vibrant industry, yet all share a common thread: an unparalleled ability to captivate audiences and leave an indelible mark on popular culture. Their recognition not only celebrates past achievements but also inspires future generations of artists and marketers to push boundaries and innovate. It’s a testament to the fact that true artistry, whether on screen or behind the scenes, continues to be the heart and soul of entertainment.
