The acclaimed Nebula original production, "Jet Lag: The Game," is set to return to the big screen for the debut of its twentieth season. In collaboration with major cinema chains including Regal, Picturehouse, Cineworld, and Landmark Cinemas, the 90-minute premiere of "Jet Lag: The Game" Season 20, titled "Hide + Seek: Italy," will be showcased in over 160 theaters across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada on December 5th. This highly anticipated event builds on the success of previous theatrical releases for the travel competition series.

This upcoming cinematic launch represents the most extensive international theatrical distribution for the series to date. Earlier this year, the Season 19 "Japanorama" premiere had a successful showing at Picturehouse Cinemas in London, followed by a broader international release of the Season 19 finale in October, which was screened across Regal, Picturehouse, and Cineworld venues. Fans eager to experience the new season on the big screen can purchase tickets starting today, November 5th. To enhance the viewing experience, certain participating cinemas will also offer an interactive on-screen trivia segment prior to the main premiere.

As one of the most beloved original series from independent streaming platform Nebula, "Jet Lag: The Game" has captivated audiences through 19 seasons with its unique competitive travel format. The show has taken its creators and stars, Sam Denby, Ben Doyle, and Adam Chase, along with various guest competitors, on thrilling journeys across diverse landscapes including Japan, New Zealand, Europe, Australia, and North America. The show's premise involves intricate travel challenges and strategic gameplay, making each season a fresh adventure.

The new season, "Hide + Seek: Italy," promises an elevated challenge. Nebula's description reveals a six-day hide-and-seek competition set against the stunning backdrop of Italy, encompassing its picturesque coastal towns, ancient mountain villages, and classic Roman countryside. This season introduces an "Expert Mode," designed to intensify the gameplay by removing powerful game mechanics and implementing new rules that penalize seekers for errors. The premiere episode will see Ben and Adam navigating these new expert-level challenges, while Sam takes a more relaxed approach on the beach, setting the stage for an intriguing season.

Dave Wiskus, the founder of Nebula, expressed his enthusiasm for bringing the community together through these theatrical events. He highlighted the importance of the show's fanbase and the joy of collaborating with cinema partners to offer a shared viewing experience. Brooks LeBoeuf, Senior Vice President of U.S. Content at Regal, echoed this sentiment, noting the proven potential of transitioning digital audiences to the movie theater. LeBoeuf emphasized Nebula's highly engaged fanbase, whose enthusiasm has consistently translated into significant theatrical demand. He looks forward to welcoming fans back to the big screen to collectively enjoy the "Hide + Seek Italy" season.
